PROJECT TITLE: Virtual Mass Spectrometry Laboratory
IDEAL CANDIDATE: Science or computer science major, with strong interest in the use of the Web for Education.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The ideal candidate will assist in the development and programming of educationally oriented case-studies that will be used to teach science students across the disciplines how the technique of Mass Spectrometry is utilized in their field. Depending on the interest of the Research Assistant hired, the specific tasks will either be on database development, web server applications, web page programming, case study design and construction, or experimental data collection. HOURS: Summer 2000, 12 weeks, 40 hours/week (starting & ending dates negotiable).
STARTING DATE: No later than June 1, 2000.
