Molecular Library

Introduction

---

5-1-03 It has come to our attention that Accelrys' ViewerLite is no longer available as freeware.  (Discovery Studio Viewer Pro 5 is a commercial product with a list price of $300 to academic users.  DS Viewer Pro 5 is not Mac compatible.  DS Viewer Pro 5 is compatible with all molecules listed on this pages.)

Out-dated info:  Instructions for installing Accelrys' Discovery Studio ViewerLite (be sure to download the ViewerLite if you want freeware) on your computer.  (Note:  Previous versions of this freeware were called WebLabViewerLite and were distributed on the CD supplied with Volhardt and Schore, v3.)  All molecules on this Molecular Library web site, especially those with the ".msv" extension, are viewable and manipulable via Discovery Studio software.

--- Instructions for installing Accelrys' Discovery Studio™ ActiveX (freeware) on your computer if you wish to embed modifiable molecules within a PowerPoint presentation.  (Note, this ActiveX program is not Mac compatible.)
--- Instructions for installing Chime (browser plugin) on your computer.  (See also this site.)
--- Instructions for installing DepthCharge (browser plugin) on your computer.
