Manny is testing out some new Finnigan instrumentation and is looking for a good
book on practical applications of electrospray. Any recommendations would be
welcome.
Kasi is working on a Bioinformatics one day course
possibly for January 15 or 22. He is contacting Dr. Andrews at Michigan.
We discussed having half-day or dinner meeting on Forensics applications of mass
spec, possibly including developments in ion mobility. Joe, Kasi and Mark
had some ideas for speakers and will follow up possibly with a meeting in
February.
I would still like to have another session, full or 1/2 day, on inorganic mass
spec applications in May.
At the end of the meeting Joe suggested on planning a
session on Proteomics for a Fall 04 meeting.
